Event Description
A Westobou Festival Event Presented by The Donald Portnoy International Violin Competition and the Augusta State University Department of Music.
Since the age of 14, when Valery Gergiev engaged her to tour Russia with his Kirov orchestra, violinist Sandy Cameron has been delighting audiences worldwide with her impressive palette of virtuosity and utter commitment to once again make classical music FUN. Recently called, "brilliant" by the Washington Post, "impossibly accurate," by the Macon Telegraph, and simply "awesome," by the Portland Press Herald, Sandy is quickly becoming recognized as one of the most strikingly unique and foremost talents of her generation. |
